Dr Catherine Lopes has 25+ years’ experience in Data & AI, and played multiple leading roles in AI-driven innovation, governance, and industry transformation. With executive experience across banking, energy, and consulting, she bridges strategic insight with hands-on expertise.
As a Non-Executive Director and academic, Catherine champions ethical AI, data governance, and inclusive technology. She advises startups and institutions on embedding human-centric AI into scalable solutions. Awarded the Mollie Holman Medal for her doctoral research in Machine Learning in 2005, she brings a unique blend of philosophical depth and practical leadership.
