Planning and managing your business finances

This workshop is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in business or thinking about starting a business who want to improve their understanding of financial management and budgeting for business. During this workshop you will hear about key financial concepts and use tools to help you assess your business revenue, costs and financial projections in meeting your goals.

 Key topics include:

• Financial Budgets- Start-Up, Revenue, Expense, Cashflow
• Review and monitoring of key financial reports in your business
• Key considerations in maintaining profitability and cashflow
• Tax obligations and planning

At the end of this workshop, you will have heard about a range of budgeting concepts and tools that will help you plan and develop your finance budget in considering whether your business will achieve your goals.
