The workshop will also look at: \n\nCash flow concept\nHow tax (income tax\, GST and superannuation) can influence cash flow\, and\nHow hiring workers influence cash flow and tax obligations.\n\nAbout the presenter:\nBrett Freudenberg\nBrett Freudenberg is a Professor – Taxation at Griffith University (Australia). \nBrett is known for his research expertise in the tax law and policy issues facing private enterprises\, as evidenced by his Fulbright Scholarship (2006) and over 90 refereed publications in leading Australian and international journals. \nBrett is passionate about education being a transformative process\, and his effectiveness as a teacher has been recognised through five national awards (including the award of two Australian Learning and Teaching Council citations: 2008 & 2011). \nDr Melissa Belle\nDr Melissa Belle Isle is a lecturer in taxation law. Melissa’s research focuses on Australian small business cash flow concerns due to taxation and owner literacy. \nMelissa is also passionate about improving the tax literacy of Australians and regularly delivers learning opportunities to community groups to assist with increases in literacy. Melissa is co-director of the Griffith Tax Clinic. \nThe Griffith Tax Clinic provides a free tax advisory service to unrepresented taxpayers and allows Griffith students to further their skills to be work ready once completing their studies. \n
