Beenleigh Artisan Distillery Triumphs at State and National Tourism Awards
Beenleigh Artisan Distillery has recently taken out GOLD at the 2025 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.
Winning Gold in the Tourism Wineries, Distilleries & Breweries category, the iconic Logan-based distillery has been recognised as one of Australia’s premier visitor experiences.
From immersive rum tastings and behind the scenes tours to locally crafted spirits, a revamped restaurant, and expanded event offerings, Beenleigh Artisan Distillery continues to raise the bar while celebrating Logan’s rich heritage.
Beenleigh Artisan Distillery secured top honours at both the 2025 Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) Tourism Awards and the 2025 Australian Tourism Awards in the Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries category.
Winning the QTIC award marked a significant milestone within Queensland, highlighting the distillery’s commitment to delivering an exceptional and authentic visitor experience. Building on that success, the distillery went on to claim the national title at the Australian Tourism Awards, placing it among the very best tourism operators in the country.

Council’s Economic Development team have worked closely with the distillery over many years to achieve this milestone. This recognition reflects their ambition to elevate the distillery beyond a beverage producer and firmly establish it as a memorable visitor experience.
Specifically, our tourism team supported their journey through industry development programs, one-on-one guidance, and assistance with their award submission. Through our strong relationships with local, regional, state and national tourism bodies, we were able to connect Beenleigh Artisan Distillery with tailored feedback and specialised training to strengthen their visitor experience and refine their submissions. This ongoing advocacy and engagement from our team helped build their confidence and readiness to put themselves forward for these awards.
