DESCRIPTION:Leadership Excellence Series\nThis module of the excellence series focuses on Leadership. \nThis leadership module will assist you to bring out the best in others by applying and adapting your leadership style and managing the conditions that drive individual and team performance. \n\nWhat leaders really do: The challenge of combining strong leadership and management.\nLeading by being mindful: Self-Awareness and Self-Regulation.\nLeading people: Building a supportive and positive organisation.\nDealing with adversity.\n\nYou will walk away with: \n\nParticipants will explore key mindset and behaviours that help the leaders both envision the future and harness the will and skill to change.\nThe sessions are built to respond to participants’ real challenges and will be designed to be relevant to participants’ workplace.\nParticipants will receive key tools and frameworks for action.\n\nParticipant Profile\nTypically\, participants will be small to medium-sized business owners and managers of business functions. \nParticipant Eligibility\nTo qualify as an eligible participant\, individuals must meet the following criteria: \n\nBe an employee within a small\, medium\, or large manufacturing business in Queensland.\nWork in an industry where manufacturing involves the transformative process of converting a resource or commodity into another product or consumable item.\nManufacturing capabilities include\, but are not limited to:\n\nGeneral Manufacturing and Engineering\nAerospace and Defence\nFood and Beverage\nChemicals\, Hydrocarbon\, and Refining\nFurnishings and Other Products\nMeat and Seafood Processing\nTextiles\, Clothing\, and Footwear\nPrinting and Graphic Arts\nPulp\, Paper\, and Packaging\nPolymers\, Plastic\, and Rubber\nPharmaceuticals and Medical Technology\nRenewables and Low Carbon\nTimber and Wood\nSupporting Capabilities including Laboratory Operations\, Sustainability\, and Process Plant Operations\n\n\nNot be an apprentice or trainee.\n\nEligible Participants: no cost \nNon-Eligible Participants: $250 \n  \nPresented in partnership with Manufacturing Skills Queensland and Ai Group \nThe Leadership Excellence Series is an initiative of Manufacturing Skills Queensland\, designed to support emerging and current leaders in manufacturing.
