DESCRIPTION:TMR invites businesses to come along to learn more about project’s tendering process\, upcoming work packages and how you can get involved. \nThe Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) project is essential infrastructure that will connect our growing communities with more frequent and reliable train services between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The project will remove a key capacity bottleneck on the network\, unlock additional train services to address high growth in travel demand\, and support the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. \nThe three major works packages for the LGC project have been awarded: \n\nDesign and pre-construction contract for the LGC Rail Project (ActivUs Alliance\, March 2025)\nDesign and construction contract for the LGC Open Level Crossing Removal (OLCR) at Kuraby (Bielby Hull Joint Venture\, September 2024)\nConstruction contract for the related Loganlea Station Relocation project (Martinus Degnan Joint Venture\, September 2024).\n\nWe invite you to attend a local industry briefing to learn more about the tendering process\, upcoming work packages and how your business can get involved\, with a focus on the LGC OLCR and Rail Projects. \nOpportunities include: \n\nCivil and structural works\nPlant\, equipment and hire\nTraffic and roadworks\nUtilities and services\nDemolition and site services\nGeotechnical and testing\nEnvironmental and landscaping\nMaterials and supply\n\nThe information provided by you in your event registration will also be shared with the with the organisations who have been awarded the major works packages. \n  \n\n

A new rail\nfacility for train maintenance and stabling will also be\nconstructed at Ormeau\, in the Gold Coast region. \nDowner has been awarded the contract to deliver QTMP\,\nand in partnership with DT Infrastructure\, will design and\nconstruct the new rail facility at Ormeau. \nDowner and DT Infrastructure invite you to attend a local\nindustry briefing to learn more about the tendering process\,\nupcoming work packages and how to get involved in the\nproject. \nCurrent opportunities available include:\n• civil and structural works\n• buildings and utilities\n• rail infrastructure. \nRegistrations close Monday 25 November. \n
