SUMMARY:Logan Chamber of Commerce AGM and Business Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:The morning will open with the Logan Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting\, reviewing the year that’s been and looking ahead to what’s next for our business community. \nFollowing the AGM\, the Chamber is proud to welcome Jodi Brown\, founder of Mental Mate\, for an engaging keynote on mental health in the workplace. Running a business is rewarding\, but it can also be stressful\, isolating\, and demanding — and for many small business owners\, mental health at work is no longer just a “nice to have.” It’s becoming a critical part of leadership\, culture\, performance\, and risk management. \nJodi will cover: \n\nThe real impact stress\, burnout\, and psychosocial risks can have on small businesses\nHow to recognise early warning signs in yourself and your team\nWhat business owners need to understand about psychologically safer workplaces\nHow to have better conversations around mental health without feeling awkward or clinical\nSimple\, practical steps you can start applying straight away
