DESCRIPTION:About the Event\nAn interactive workshop for those wanting to hone their application writing skills\, focused on the Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) initiative through the Department of Trade\, Employment and Training (DTET). \nBoth new and experienced grant writers are encouraged to bring their SQW project ideas to this workshop\, where they will: \n\nReceive tools and support to improve their project planning and application responses\nLearn about common application mistakes and how to avoid them\nHear what SQW assessors are looking for and how to show their ability to deliver\nHave the opportunity to discuss their plans and applications with one of DTET’s regional officers\n\nParticipants will receive hard copy and electronic resources to support their applications. \nLight refreshments are included. \nWho should attend? Program staff and managers of community services or other eligible organisations who intend to apply for SQW funding. \nSQW funding for Round 1\, 2025-26 will open on 3rd February 2025 for 8 weeks and close on 27 March 2025. \n
