DESCRIPTION:The Department of Transport and Main Roads’ Queensland\nTrain Manufacturing Program (QTMP) will build 65 new\nsix-car passenger trains at a purpose-built manufacturing\nfacility at Torbanlea\, in the Fraser Coast region. A new rail\nfacility for train maintenance and stabling will also be\nconstructed at Ormeau\, in the Gold Coast region. \nDowner has been awarded the contract to deliver QTMP\,\nand in partnership with DT Infrastructure\, will design and\nconstruct the new rail facility at Ormeau. \nDowner and DT Infrastructure invite you to attend a local\nindustry briefing to learn more about the tendering process\,\nupcoming work packages and how to get involved in the\nproject. \nCurrent opportunities available include:\n• civil and structural works\n• buildings and utilities\n• rail infrastructure. \nRegistrations close Monday 25 November. \n
