As JobAccess marks its 20th anniversary, please join us for this free national webinar for employers and service providers.

This webinar will explore how disability employment can be embedded as a sustainable, long-term workforce strategy.

Hear from:

Emily O’Brien, Organisational Development Consultant, Powerlink Queensland
Lara Pike, Team Leader People Systems and Insights, Powerlink Queensland
Georgia Miller, National Manager, JobAccess
Karla Fernee, Manager – National Disability Recruitment Coordinator, JobAccess

In this session you will gain:

  • Practical pathways to embed inclusion within an organisation
  • A clear understanding of the long-term value of inclusive employment for employees and employers
  • Awareness of the supports available through JobAccess to help along the way

One in five Australians lives with disability, representing a substantial and valuable segment of the workforce. However, awareness of disability employment pathways and supports remains limited across both employer and community settings. This gap continues to restrict access to meaningful employment and prevents organisations from engaging with a diverse and highly capable talent pool.

Addressing this gap is not only a matter of inclusion—it is fundamental to building a sustainable, future-ready workforce. Enabling equitable participation strengthens organisational resilience, supports workforce continuity, and contributes to long-term economic and social sustainability.

JobAccess is the Australian Government’s national hub for disability employment support. JobAccess services are delivered by genU, on behalf of the Department of Social Services. JobAccess provides free, expert advice and support for people with disability, employers and service providers.

Since 2006, JobAccess has helped break down barriers to disability employment. It supports people and businesses through practical, tailored solutions that lead to better outcomes.
